So many things have been going on lately, I thought I might do a little news update. If you have been following Homely Creatures on Facebook you will know that I am very close to launching a brand new product range for children and the home. Designed in Melbourne and handmade (fair trade) in Nepal, I am BUSTING with excitement about bringing my own range to the world. I've seen other bloggers baking cupcakes in egg shells (see picky below) but I thought I would take it one step further, remove the shell and decorate the cake too. Favourite things

When Monday bites, when the hang-over stings, when I'm feeling sad... I simply remember my favourite things. I love cake! And I'm not too proud to admit it! I love making it, looking at it and eating it. Especially cupcakes and these are cute and small and perfect. Tip: Cake goes very well with tea. I love Frankie, and Australian magazine for creative folk. It brings me so much inspiration, I'm always more motivated to live a creative life after curling up with Frankie and a cup of tea (and probably some cake, see above.) Tip: Check the Frankie website for your nearest Frankie supplier. And last but not least, after I'm all hyped up on cake and inspired from...
