This morning Homely Creatures made its first public appearance at a quaint little market called Heavenly Harvest at Kangaroo Point. The weather could not have been more perfect for a morning out (although it really started heating up by mid day) and the views from the market area were beautiful. They even had live music and scrummy coffee, cake and sausage sizzle, so we didn't regret attending the market even before we made any sales!
All in all it ended up being quite a good day where our pineapple print cushions and cards were a hit, our keyrings and badges went down a treat and our up-cycled crockery got lots of attention. We met some really lovely people and got some wonderful feedback. Many thanks to friends and family who came along to help and shop.
A few of you were interested in ordering some Homely Creatures goodies my post or pickup - please get in touch with me (Emma) and I will be happy to arrange.
Round one is complete! And now we are even better prepared for tomorrow, round two at The Villiage Markets at Burliegh Heads. See you there!
